Scope of the Manual
This training manual covers the requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (OH&S MS) which are supplementary to the OHSAS 18001 STANDARD. The OHSAS 18001 standard is too general – It does not mention the actual techniques for conducting the HIRA and the principles safeguarding risk assessment in general. This course includes two standards which are ISO 31000 – Risk Management, Principles and guidelines and ISO 31010 – Risk Assessment Techniques.
Course objectives
Any student who successfully completes this module will b e able to:

- conduct HIRA-Hazard Identification and Risk assessment
